welcome to amaandadjoa.com !
A lifestyle blog dedicated to discovering and uncovering the very best of African living!
Akwaaba! My name is Ama (big sister to Adjoa). I’m a twenty-something Brit of dual-African heritage with a passion for all things African. Yes, I did say “dual-African heritage”. Don’t let my name fool you! As well as being a proud Saturday-born Ghanaian, I am also the daughter of a fiercely patriotic Nigerian. With this blog I hope to shine a light on the hidden treasures of holistic African living – in all its natural richness.
Adjoa here. I’ve just spent 2 years in Ghana after living my whole life in London, with brief spells in Manchester and Singapore. I’m looking forward to fulfilling my name, Bamidele meaning “follow me to my father’s house” by taking a trip to Lagos. Africa isn’t just becoming the next big thing, it has been for a long time, but now people of African descent are spearheading the movement. I’m excited to be part of it.
